Orbit Embroidered Shawl
This double sided cotton scarf has been hand dyed with foraged walnuts, indigo and quebracho with indigo dyed cotton embroidery. Finger loops embellish two corners opposite multicolored tassels on the other corners, making this a warm and beautiful shawl for special rites and rituals. The walnut dyed cotton soaked in Kentucky walnut husk dye bath for 1 month to gain its deep brown hues and time has revealed interesting details in the fabric. The indigo and Quebracho panel has been dyed using the japanese "honeycomb"dyeing method.
20” wide and 62” long.
