XL ~ Melin Tregqynt

Named after a wool mill in Wales in which this pattern is used in weaving, I hand painted this shirt after visiting the beautiful mill, a variation on st. davids cross, in iron ink over a layer of sprays of iron and madder root. the ink is cured in a plant tannin bath and the hem is raw edge along the bottom of the shirt. It's super soft and has a worn in feel.

 23“ wide  x 27“ long. 

Variations and beautiful imperfections exist as clothing/fabric is locally sourced second hand, botanical dyes are ethically sourced, plastic free, safe for skin, and biodegradable. Block prints are hand carved and printed with water based ink one at a time.  Hand wash inside out or wash on a delicate machine cycle in cold water with gentle soap. Hang dry or tumble on low. Iron if needed.
