Colorado Moon tapestry
A perfect gift for the mountain lover in your life, this piece is inspired by the moon rising over the Sangre de Cristo mountain range in Crestone, Colorado. This art piece is hand printed with an original stencil design using an iron based ink. After printing it is bundle dyed with locally grown marigolds and buckthorn berries.
Dimensions: 16" x 11", hung on 15" long solid wood with cotton string to hang. Tapestry is sewn with a cotton backing, all edges are hemmed. A small tag is sewn into the back and a card is included naming all plants used in the process. Item ships rolled in a bubble envelope mailer.

Item is made from 100% post consumer cotton; thrifted, cleaned, scoured, and hand dyed to eliminate support of new textile production. All natural and biodegradable dyes. Imperfections and color variations exist, each item is one of a kind. Dyed in Colorado, USA. Colors I do not sustainably forage for I source ethically from Botanical Colors in Seattle. Inks are handmade, plant and mineral based, plastic free, safe for most skin types.
