Scour & Mordant Service

Drop your cotton items off for me to scour and mordant so you don’t have to!

Aside from indigo and tannin baths, cotton needs to be scoured and mordanted before it will accept plant dyes. This is a 3 step process using safe chemicals. After scouring and mordanting, your items are ready to dye. 

Drop off items by the 1st of the month, and pick up items before the 30th of the month, it's that simple! Your items will be scoured and mordanted, dried and folded for you!

For those who live further afield, mail me your items and choose the shipping option. I will mail them back to you in less than 30 days. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: items must be at least 50% cotton. Cotton/polyester blends are fine but 100% cotton is ideal. I cannot process wool, silk, or linen, but I can do cotton, hemp, bamboo, and modal clothing. Because of the hot water used in the processes, items might shrink a tiny bit, especially if new. Please honor a two item minimum with your orders.
