L ~ Round Trip Resist

This shirt was initially dyed in cochineal, then weld baths before being hand painted with a clay resist. Once the clay dried, it was immersed in an indigo vat. The clay afterwards washes away to reveal the painted design. Many details are painted onto all area of the shirt including a mystical plant with spore clouds, lightning bolt and eye on the sleeves, a snail and hourglass on the back. One of a kind and the first clay resist shirt I am offering.

Beautiful imperfections and color variations exist as each item is one of a kind and dyed by hand in Colorado, USA. Clothing and fabric is locally sourced second hand, Ink ingredients are ethically sourced, plastic free, safe for skin, and biodegradable. For a long life (can apply to all of your clothes!) , hand wash in cold water with gentle soap. Hang dry. Iron if needed.

Sizing guide: Not all “Larges” are the same exact size, as manufacturers of items vary. Measure a shirt you own as a reference for finding the best size for your comfort. If you don't have a measuring device, a standard piece of printing paper can work as a rough guide, as they are 8.5” x 11”.
