Half Moon

Using scraps from previous projects, this wall hanging series has been hand assembled with the moon in mind. Simple moonscapes have been sewn together, with a white backing, hung from oak and cotton thread. Lightweight and ready for a home.

Dyes used in this piece are: half moon dyed with indigo,madder,weld, background and loops with wildflowers and madder, bottom blue dyed with indigo and marigolds, top pink dyed with indigo and cochineal beetles.

For a long life of the colors in each piece, I recommend hanging out of direct sunlight. Item ships rolled and padded. Items can be gently hand washed in cold water and ironed if it gets dusty or dirty.
